ABC Framework

In both tracks, we work off of an ABC framework that scaffolds down a client’s need for sessions; working to full independence and autonomy on their part.

We focus on helping them take advantage of their identified strengths and gain strategies to use those strengths to overcome identified areas of struggle. Building their confidence in themselves is a crucial component.

IEP/504 Accommodation & Services Assistance

Assessment Phase

Includes a series of informal multi-sensory type assessments to help fine-tune and identify areas they need specific assistance with and to identify their strengths & weaknesses.

Building Phase

This is where the hard work of breaking their old ineffective habits and building new healthy, supportive habits come into play. Here is where we fill their toolbox of strategies and expand their skills.

Competency Phase

This works on their ability to confidently and independently implement their new strategies and skills with success. As well as receive direct feedback and redirection as needed until they are entirely able to “fly solo” and advocate independently for their needs to other professionals, school personnel, and their parents.
